The Wren was designed with ease and shape in mind. It's relaxed, voluminous and intentionally oversized. The exaggerated yoke adds a bit of architectural interest. The kind of detail that makes this not your average crewneck. The sleeves are slightly cropped and full thanks to the deep box pleats, a statement without shouting. This a solid tried and true you will make many of.

 

Our patterns come in PDF format for use at home, copy shop or projecting with both size ranges included. The DD range comes in sizes XS - XXL and the JJ range comes in sizes 1X - 5X.

    I am new at knit sewing but this pattern is a gem.I already made two very modern and cozy fleeces and planning a third for my sister. The cut is beatiful and the instructions great.

    This is a fantastic pattern a little on the larger size so had to adjust for my size and also had to lengthen given my height. I have made it in beautiful merino 100% wool I made three!! Love the fact it is so quick to make well done I am a forever fan of Daughter Judy

    An absolute autumn must-have

    Staple piece in my wardrobe already! I would just appreciate if the pattern had SA 0.7 cm, since it is mostly sewn on OL. Other than that I am super-happy with it :-)

    Wren Fleece - a great addition to my casual wardrobe

    The wren fleece was really easy to put together, all pattern pieces fitted exactly and the finished result did not disappoint. I love the rounded neck line and box pleat detail at the sleeve. These features add a really nice variation to a sweater. The sizing was my only worry - how oversized do you go? And finally I opted to cut out a size smaller, so the final sweater was generous and roomy but not excessive. I will make this again, and the only thing I might do differently is add extra to the length (about an 1 inch), the finished sweater sits high on my hips and could have been ever so slightly longer (I am 5’7” or 170cm tall).
