What are the differences in the pricing tiers?

I'm trying to select my size but can't seem to do so.
All pattern purchases at any pricing tier come with all sizes (0-34/XS-5X) and formats (at home, at a shop, projector) included so there is no need to select a size.
How will I receive my digital files?
After completing your order a page containing your files will appear where you can click the button DOWNLOAD NOW. Alternatively, check the email used during purchase where you will also receive a link to your PDF files. These files can be instantly downloaded to your computer where you can print/project and start sewing right away!
An email must be entered during purchase as a back up if you accidentally close the order completion page with the immediate link. If you did not, please contact us so we can update your customer profile and resubmit the pattern to you.
I didn't receive my files via email and I closed the order page, help!
For first time purchasers these emails will go your spam folder so be sure to check there first! If you're still not seeing them there could have been an issue in entering your email so please reach out to qcc@daughterjudypatterns.com where we'll be happy to assist you.
How do I print my PDF at home?
See our page on PDF Printing where you will find directions for printing at home. Be sure to save your files in a safe place such as an online cloud service like Dropbox.
I need US letter or A4 format in order to print at home.
Our AT HOME files are configured to work for both US letter and A4 paper sizes so printed at actual size.
I lost my digital pattern download email, can you resend it?
Absolutely! Email qcc@daughterjudypatterns.com and we will resend the files. Don’t forget to check that spam folder too.
Why don’t you offer printed patterns?
The only two options for independent companies like this is to go through a well known big box tissue print pattern brand or purchase a plotter and print yourself which is very expensive. In our studio we try to exclusively use projector printing which saves time and paper and encourage those who have the financial means to explore this option in their home.
Is seam allowance included in the pattern?
Yes, all seam allowance is included and noted on the pattern pieces individually. Most pattern pieces have 1/2" (1.2cm) seam allowance but some areas like hems have different widths. Pay close attention to the nomenclature on the pattern pieces for these differences.
TAXES
Why is VAT being added to my digital pattern?
For customers in the EU + UK, new law requires all businesses to collect VAT on digital products purchased by any customer based in the European Union or United Kingdom. We are legally required to charge you VAT based on your home country.
RETURNS
What is your return policy?
Please contact us with any issues you have with your pattern and we will do our best to assist. If you are completely unsatisfied afterwards we will offer a full refund. qcc@daughterjudypatterns.com
SUBSTACK
How do I sign up to become a PAID subscriber?
When you navigate to the home page of The BULLETIN Board you will see a button on the top right that says "Upgrade to paid". Give it a click and Substack will walk you through the sign up process!
Where do I get the free patterns?
When you become a paid subscriber you will get access too all new subscriber patterns via the newsletter upon its release. After 10 days the file will be removed from Substack and move to the Daughter Judy website at full price but you can always find the files in the original newsletter email.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Go to your Substack home page and click the hamburger at the top right corner then go to your Settings page. Scroll down to the Subscriptions section and click on The BULLETIN Board. Scroll to Account Actions and follow the prompts to cancel. If there is any billing issues please reach out directly to Substack or see their support page here substack.com/support.
I'm having issues with my account and have been charged incorrectly.
Unfortunately Substack does not give us much on the backend to help mitigate incorrect charges. Please reach out to Substack directly to resolve the issue. We are always available via qcc@daughterjudypatterns.com to help where we can!
MISCELLANEOUS
Can I sell items made from your patterns or use your patterns to start my own clothing line?
All Daughter Judy patterns are to be used for home sewing / non commercial purposes only.
