Coe Trouser

The Coe is sculptural but not stiff, relaxed but not sloppy, just undeniably cool in that "I bought these at a store you haven't heard of" kind of way. It's high waisted with a side seam that wraps slightly forward, giving the leg its unique shape. They go with everything because they are everything. The main character in an otherwise quiet outfit and the reason you'll finally stop buying pants you secretly hate.

Our patterns come in PDF format for use at home, copy shop or projecting with both size ranges included. The DD range comes in sizes 0 - 20 and the JJ range comes in sizes 16 - 34.

    My first pdf sewing pattern

    Hello 😊

It’s my first time buying a PDF sewing pattern, and I have to admit I struggled a bit with printing – I first tried A3 paper, but in the end I printed it on A4 since I couldn’t quite figure it out. Now I’ve got 48 pages to lay out in the right order, so I’ll need a bit of motivation (and space!) to get that part done 😅

I’m planning to use old jeans fabric instead of buying new material – let’s see how that goes! I’m not a very experienced sewer, so I’m a bit nervous about messing things up, but it’s definitely going to be a long-term project for me.

I really like the design – it’s timeless and classic, yet still modern, with a high-quality aesthetic that really appeals to me. The pattern instructions also look very clear and well written, so I’m looking forward to seeing how it all goes once I finally get started!

    Best

    great design and instructions

The fly construction led to the most perfect zipper installation I've ever done BY FAR (and I've made quite a few pants). I felt like all of the instructions were easy to follow, something I've sometimes struggled with with other DJ patterns in the past.

Flattering AND Sensory Friendly?!? Sign me up! Can't stop making these pants.

These pants are amazing. I’ve made several pairs for myself, and love how they come together, look, and feel to wear. I have also made several pairs for my (very cool) 22 year old, and they told me that these are THE most comfortable and sensory friendly pants they have ever worn. Game changer. Wants no other style pants. For me, they wear like sweat pants and look like a million bucks.

I recently altered the pattern to take out some of the room in the butt and upper leg. I like it even more with less fullness. Is it possible this might be a future pattern from Daughter Judy, the Coe Trouser, with the forward-side-seam, with less fullness? I’m certain your drafting would result in an even more flattering pant than my amateur crack at it.
