The Coe is sculptural but not stiff, relaxed but not sloppy, just undeniably cool in that "I bought these at a store you haven't heard of" kind of way. It's high waisted with a side seam that wraps slightly forward, giving the leg its unique shape. They go with everything because they are everything. The main character in an otherwise quiet outfit and the reason you'll finally stop buying pants you secretly hate.

Our patterns come in PDF format for use at home, copy shop or projecting with both size ranges included. The DD range comes in sizes 0 - 20 and the JJ range comes in sizes 16 - 34.

    Great design!

Love the fit of the pants. I made a pair of grey light cotton and they are perfect. The design perfectly fits my bum and make it look amazing! I have sewn a few things with zippers before but this pattern and instructions made it easy

    A Genuinely Lovely Make

I very much enjoyed making these pants. I used a nice merlot coloured twill. They came together really nicely and in my opinion the twill is an excellent weight for it because it really holds the shape.

I found this pattern easy to follow. I looked at my measurements and the finished garment measurements and made pattern size 18 in DD. It fit me perfectly on the waist and hips.

I did make one change. After I put the pants together, I found the legs too wide. I trimmed the inner leg by 1.2 centimeter (basically, I just doubled the seam allowance).

I will make them again out of a lighter denim so I can wear them in the summer as well.

I love this pattern so much.

I made this pair of trousers from a cotton canvas type fabric. The fit according to my measurements are perfect. All pieces went together easily and with well written instructions the pants were assembled without a problem. Thank you for such a well drafted pattern. I’m looking forward to trying a pair in a fabric with more drape to it.

    Coe Trouser

Pattern PDF/ sheets fairly easy to assemble. Instructions clear and I like some of the techniques. Fly instructions were quite involved but well explained and I am pleased with how that went (better than usual, I would say).

(I’ve had trouble making alterations because choosing a waist which is my size means the hips are too big. (Waist 34”, hips 39”). The pockets being set in to the seam means I’ve been unable to take the hips in sufficiently. I think I need to go back to the drawing board and re-angle the pockets but I’m not sure if the seam will lie correctly then!)
