    Coe Trouser Review

I really loved this pattern! Since I'm somewhat in between Beginner and Intermediate skill level, I wasn't sure if I'd be able to get this right, but all in all, it was totally okay. I struggled with the zipper (and it turned out a little wonky) but I'm really happy how it turned out!

    Love this pattern

I made the Coe Trousers in flowy viscose/linen blend. They are wonderfully comfortable and the barrel shape is still evident even in a lighter-weight fabric. I made a straight-size 12 and they were true to size. Excellent pattern-drafting as always from Daughter Judy!

    Perfect Fit!

The Coe Trouser is the only pants I’ve ever sewn with a zipper and a waist band that fit me perfectly in my size without any modifications. It’s like they were designed just for me. I’ve made three pairs so far and they are also the most comfortable. Oddly I know for many, but I dont like the pockets. I made two without pockets and the third with pockets and they gaped open even with the modification in the pattern to prevent gaping. Maybe it’s my body shape but the pocket gaping was not flattering so I top stitched them shut and cut out the pocket bags. I do love the faux pocket look on that pair. That’s no big deal for me and I still highly recommend this pattern!
