Your new favorite base layer, though it hardly feels like one. A slim fit, second skin feel crewneck with clean lines and added length for tuckability. Layer it or don’t; it’s as good under a blazer as it is on its own with your favorite jeans. Basically the foundation for every good outfit.

Our patterns come in PDF format for use at home, copy shop or projecting with both size ranges included. The DD range comes in sizes XS - XXL and the JJ range comes in sizes 1X - 5X.

Fabric Recommendation

This pattern was created for knit fabrics with minimum 20% stretch or give in circumference: jersey/rib/pointelle. It’s recommended to use these fabric types without elastic yarns (spandex/lycra) as they will still have ample give. Fabrics with elastic yarns are workable however keep the percentage low at around 2%. However, we believe you can make everything out of anything, feel free to contact us for advice if you’re feeling adventurous.

    I made a few

I used midweight pointelle and a little heavier rib to make a few of Bitas. I also used the honeygirl tee expansion pattern to make a boatneck version and button up version. I like the fit . The back seam gives a snugger, more comfortable fit. It sews up quick.

    Simple not Basic

I loved making this top. It's a simple T but the longer length, slight shaping at the waist and split sides at the hem, as well as the lower crew neck add up to a good looking piece. I made it in black merino wool jersey which feels luxurious. It's a pattern I will make again.
