The Worship is a classic five pocket rigid jean that pays homage to that certain San Francisco based heritage denim label. These hug your rear and are guaranteed to give you that Daughter Judy Booty (TM) or your money back! They have a higher rise with a vee shaped waistband that won't cut into your stomach the second you sit down or after a big meal. A classic silhouette, clean lines and good proportions, that comes in a straight and flare view for a little extra. Best made in heavier weight denim that breaks in and molds to your shape over time.

Our patterns come in PDF format for use at home, copy shop or projecting with both size ranges included. The DD range comes in sizes 0 - 20 and the JJ range comes in sizes 16 - 34.

    Excellent as always from DJP

I'm 6' and have resorted to making my own pants rather than try to find Talls which are never long enough anyway!

This is my third pattern from DJ and it is excellent as all the others have been. Clear instructions, helpful images, well-fitting. Can't wait to use it again and again.

My measurements are 35" waist and 45" hip and I made the size 14 which fit like a glove with some 12 oz denim. The crotch was a little high for me so I'll scoop that for my next edition, but it made for a very "cheeky" jean if you're into that :)

    Adore these jeans

I finally took the leap and sewed up a pair of the legendary Worship Jeans. I used an 11oz Japanese deadstock dark rinse denim to make the flared version. My measurements exactly fit the size 6 listed for the pattern, so I closed my eyes and cut without benefit of a toile. Lucky for me, a great fit! I did add an extra inch to the length, as I wasn't sure how cropped (or not) I wanted this pair to be. I will do the final try on tomorrow to make the final decision.

The instructions are first rate and this was one of those projects that was a pleasure to sew, even with the occasional hiccup, ahem, going through three topstitch needles. The best experience, in my opinion, is when you see the designer's vision unfold as you sew, and you just get it. Make these jeans, you will love them!

    So perfeect!

Un jeans parfait en tout point je l'adore! Par contre, j'aurais apprécié avoir un tutoriel vidéo car je n'ai pas trouvé les instructions très détaillées.

    Good fit and interesting construction

The fit of this jeans are very good, there is a lot attention to detail, the slight v shape of the waist is very interesting, the pocket stay is a great idea, the topstitching detail in the coin pocket is inspiring.

The instructions are short and clear, with novel ways to tackle the difficult tast of dealing with many layers of denim.

The zipper instructions are amazing. I think i will adopt it for all my pants from now on.

    Winner Winner Chicken Dinner

Delighted to have found my TNT jeans pattern, something that I can reliably make in different fabrics for different seasons and moods. I made two Worships in a row. The 1st in Japanese popcorn denim in a size 16, which are meant to be both a wearable toile and jeans that I can reliably fit into when I'm tearing it up on holiday with a "vacation diet." I made my 2nd pair in size 14 with an Italian 12 oz loopback denim that has a more drapey feel to it. The size 14 still came out a tad big in the hips and seat, but that might also be because of the loopback fabric. My measurements put me in between sizes 12 and 14. I wondered if I should go even further down to a size 12, but I dare not spend so much time making jeans only to find they're too tight. I think I'll make another pair of size 14 in a sturdier fabric, and if it's still too big, I'll adjust at the side seams. I've read many reviews that mention the waistband being either too small or big, but I didn't have that problem at all. I've also read reviews that mention waistband gaping, which I also did not experience. The fly construction was a breeze, but I might be thinking that because I came across an IG Reel that illustrated the entire fly construction steps. Looking forward to making many more Worships!
