    Great Pattern!

This is such a good pattern. Everything came together so perfectly - it was a breeze to sew and the instructions were great. What I loved most was that everything matched up perfectly with the notches etc. I think if this is the first time you have attempted a collar like this, then this is the one to try. I also loved that the collar was slim and elegant.

Great basic, easy to sew up!

I love a great button-up shirt, but have mostly sewn stand-collar shirts before. The camp collar styling on this was such a nice simple sew, and looks great in casual linen! As soon as I finished my first one, I immediately pulled two more fabrics out of the stash to line up more Genra shirts. Love it!

    Unexpected lux

I really love this shirt. I’ve made two, one in a linen and one in a silky cotton. The pattern drafting is amazing, and the instructions are excellent. Can’t wait to make more DJ patterns.

    My go to button up

I’ve seen 8 different button up patterns in search of the perfect shirt to wear to the office and this one takes the cake for a perfect blend of fitted enough to look proffesional but loose enough to be comfy. I also deeply love the collar detail and the scoop hem.

I made the 2X (I fall between a 20-22) and the fit is lovely, I do find it a smidge cropped at the sides but I’m 5’10” so that’s a common woe. The sleeves are delightfully long to give them nice drape and they work perfectly on my long arms. On top of it the instructions are so detailed and lovely. I would highly recommend this pattern.
